TREVOR AND JENNIFER CLAYPOOL

After serving 20 years in the US Marine Corps, Trevor retired from active duty on November 1, 2023. They relocated to South Carolina and are currently raising support in anticipation of their new roles as the Directors of Victory Ranch, a part of Cadence International. Victory Ranch is a 17-acre retreat facility and ministry located in the midlands of South Carolina (between Fort Jackson and Shaw Air Force Base) serving the military personnel of Fort Jackson and the greater South Carolina midlands since 1983. Cadence International is an evangelical missionary organization that shares the gospel of Jesus Christ with military members and their families around the world. The slide show below gives you a quick glimpse at some of the recent activities held at Victory Ranch.

KEHILAT HACARMEL

Kehilat HaCarmel is a community of Messianic believers located on Mt. Carmel in the city of Haifa. The vision of Kehilat HaCarmel is to rebuild the Lord’s altar on Carmel’s strategic heights and to pray for the fire of His presence

to again return to the Land of Israel.

Their mission is to bring the “living stones” of God’s people together—Jews, Arabs and other Gentiles who are being

forged into “one new man” in the fire of His love. They also

give to the poor and hungry in Israel, and provide a place

of shelter and help for those in need. In addition, they host intensive study tours for international visitors to bring

biblical understanding of the prophetic significance of Israel

and to give them insight into what God is doing today.

NEW HOPE CHILDREN'S FOUNDATION

New Hope Children’s Foundation is making a difference in the lives of children throughout Nicaragua. Their vision is to provide education, food, clothing, and medical assistance as well as a home for orphaned or abused children. Above all, they desire to show these children the love of Jesus Christ.

REMOTE SOUTHEAST ASIA MISSIONARIES

(NOTE: For their personal safety and the protection of their work, names and locations must remain anonymous.)

C & A and their two children are on a remote island in Southeast Asia where they are working to plant a church for an unreached people group with no Scriptures translated into their native language. Besides planting a church and sharing the Good News of the Gospel, they are in the beginning stages of translating the Bible into the local native

dialect. At great personal risk, this missionary family is committed to seeing a healthy church planted and the Bible fully translated -- regardless how long it takes.

Indian Village

Reaching Villages. Building the Church. Sharing Jesus.

At Encounter Church, we believe the Gospel is meant to go across the street and around the world. Through your generosity and our missions partnerships, we have the privilege of helping take the hope of Jesus to places we may never personally go.

We are honored to partner with Fredrick & Reeba and their ministry in India, supporting the work of reaching villages, strengthening local pastors and evangelists, and helping establish churches where people can hear the Gospel and encounter Jesus.

A Church in Thottalam Village

On August 25, 2026, a new church was officially dedicated in Thottalam village, India—and Encounter Church had the privilege of partnering in making this village church possible.

Getting there wasn't easy.

During construction, the believers faced significant opposition and persecution. Police intervention resulted in construction being stopped for four to five weeks. There were additional challenges securing electricity, along with opposition from surrounding villages.

But the church did what the church knows to do:

They prayed. They fasted. They believed. And God made a way.

In an incredible answer to prayer, God even used a respected Hindu community leader who stepped forward to encourage and support the completion of the church building.

What looked impossible became possible through the grace of God!

A Small Church With a BIG Mission

The building may be small, but its potential impact is enormous.

The church is strategically located in the center of approximately 40 surrounding villages, creating an incredible opportunity for Pastor Aanandan Thiyagu and the local believers to reach people with the Gospel of Jesus Christ.

This isn't simply about constructing a building.

It's about creating a place where lives can be changed.

A place where people can hear about Jesus.
A place where families can find hope.
A place where believers can grow.
A place from which the Gospel can reach village after village.

And we believe this is only the beginning.

Your Generosity Goes Around the World

Every person who gives faithfully at Encounter Church is helping make stories like this possible.

You may never personally travel to Thottalam village, but your generosity has.

You may never meet many of the people who will walk through the doors of this church, but your giving is helping create a place where they can meet Jesus.

That's what missions is all about.

There are still rural pastors who need encouragement, evangelists who need support, churches that need help, and villages waiting to hear the Gospel.

Encounter Church is committed to continuing to pray, give, and partner with those taking Jesus into these communities.

“Go into all the world and preach the gospel to all creation.” — Mark 16:15

Whether it's in our community or a village in India, we're still All About the One.

One village. One church. One life at a time.

Jesus Changes Everything.

North Africa Missions

Sent to Serve: North Africa

At Encounter Church, we believe the Gospel was never meant to stop with us. We are blessed to be a blessing, called to carry the hope of Jesus wherever He leads.

We are honored to support a young couple who have answered God’s call to serve in North Africa, sharing the love and hope of Jesus with people in a part of the world where ministry can be difficult and, at times, dangerous.

Because of the sensitive nature of their work, we are unable to share their names, photographs, specific location, or details about their ministry. Their safety—and the safety of the people they are serving—is incredibly important to us.

But even though we cannot tell you everything about where they are or what they are doing, we can tell you this: they said YES.

They said yes to leaving what was familiar.
Yes to following God's call.
Yes to loving people.
Yes to carrying the Good News of Jesus across borders and cultures.

And as their church family, we get to go with them through our prayers and support.

Please join us in praying for this incredible young couple. Pray for God's protection over their lives, wisdom and discernment in every relationship, open doors for the Gospel, strength when the journey is difficult, and opportunities to show the love of Jesus to the people God places in their path.

We may not be able to share their faces or tell you their exact location, but Heaven knows their names, God knows exactly where they are, and we believe He is using their YES to make an eternal difference.

Thank you for praying. Thank you for giving. Thank you for helping Encounter Church take the message of Jesus beyond our walls and around the world.

All about the One. One life can change everything.

Therefore, go and make disciples of all the nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father

and the Son and the Holy Spirit.
