The Baptism Team prepares for and hosts the Encounter baptism experience. They are available to assist those who are getting baptized before  and after emersion.  

The Café Team is a fun team to be a part of. Experience not necessary -- just a heart to serve! You'll be trained as a Barista to serve up specialty coffees and snacks before and after each worship experience.

The Compassion Team walks alongside those experiencing life's difficulties. If you have a heart full of compassion and mercy for others, and want to help them recover & rebuild their lives after loss, this is the Team for you!

The Creative Team provides visual support & graphics for all electronic media outlets: website development & maintenance, social media, photography, graphic design, visual and video production, 

& more. Experience is not necessary, but some tech knowledge is helpful.

If you like to bake -- or think outside the box with other types of treats -- this is the place for you. Our Cupcake Team provides treats for special events such as Missions, Youth Camp, Valentine's Day, Easter, Mother's Day, Father's Day, or Christmas, to name a few. 

Once a month, this Team assists with our age

50+ young-at-heart group gathering. Whether it’s assisting those who require assistance or serving meals, this is a delight to participate.

The Dream Team Lounge is an exclusive place for those serving on a Dream Team each Sunday. They prepare a bountiful spread (coffee, hot tea, juices, fruit, hot breakfast & snacks) as a ‘thank you’ to Dream Teamers who are serving that morning & their immediate family members. 

From setting up tents for outings with the fellas to baiting fishing poles to catch the big one, the E3 Men's Team can use your talent! Or how about building a campfire, cooking burgers, hot dogs or cooking the hometown favorite, Jambalaya?

E3 Men is the place to be.  

The ER Team provides a safe and welcoming environment at each ER gathering by greeting at the door, running audio & visual, serving snacks and coffee, or leading break-out groups. ER is a thriving community that supplies support for all those struggling with hurts, pains and habits.

Our Events Team is responsible for the preparation and set-up for all special events at church. Their goal is to create the ‘Wow’ factor in everything we host through decorations and set-up to the food and service … including the tear-down, pack up and clean-up after the event.

The Hospitality Team functions behind the scenes to ensure that all amenities at Encounter Church are always up-to-date and available. 

In His Hands is our volunteer Helps Ministry. This Team assists members during a time of need (hospitalization, family death or catastrophic events). Forms of assistance include prepared or cooked food, food delivery, running errands, to name a few.

If you work or have worked in the medical field and enjoy it, this is the place for you. Our Medical team aids in any medical need by supporting our Venue (security) Team and making sure everyone is safe and well.

If you love babies and toddlers, this is your Team. You'll be rocking babies, playing games with toddlers, and sharing Jesus through play and story-telling. We believe children are never too young to hear and learn from the Word of God.

If you're passionate about teaching and training youngsters about Jesus, we have the perfect spot for you. This is a fun and energetic Team teaching kids through lively praise and worship, a message with an object lesson, small groups and crafts. 

The Youth Team invests in the lives of our young people. If you want to make an impact on the next generation by helping them develop a strong foundational relationship with Jesus, this is your sweet spot. 

Small Groups bring people together based on the things they enjoy and are important to them. Small Group Hosts support and encourage their members in their interests and spiritual growth. No special training is required ... just a desire to bring people into a closer relationship with Jesus.

The Student Life Registration Team works hand-in-hand with the Nursery and eKids to register all children prior to Sunday experiences. They’re also on hand to notify kiddos when parents have arrived to pick them up.

The Temple Keepers take great pleasure in ensuring God's House is sparkling clean and in order every week. A spirit of excellence in everything we do is one of our core values at Encounter Church, so maintaining our facilities is of utmost importance. 

Ushers serve hand-in-hand with the Welcome Team,   assisting members and guests, serving Communion, and taking up the offering. If you enjoy helping people, this could be your Team!

Our Venue Team creates and maintains a safe place for everyone in our facilities. No prior security or law enforcement experience is needed -- just a heart to keep others safe and be a first-responder in the event of an emergency. 

The Welcome Desk is the point of contact for all Encounter info. This Team is the welcoming, smiling face of our church, providing Information on room locations, current events, ministry questions and event registrations. If you like smiling and making people feel welcome, this is your Team!

Our Welcome Team welcomes people home to Encounter Church at all entrance doors. They are the first face people see as they walk up to the entrance doors. The only requirement to be on this team is a BIG HAPPY SMILE! 

At Encounter Church, our musicians and vocalists are FIRST worshippers -- nothing is more important. If you play an instrument and/or sing in tune, you are needed to help bring others into the Presence of God!  (Audition is required)
